Yep. I'm in that kind of relationship right now. It reminds me of that song, "Should I stay or should I go?"

Yes i was but i left...You know its time to break the ties with your GF/BF when the relationship is bringing more pain then joy, and you can tell by their face and how the act that they love you but its hurting them to be with you. My last relationship was with a Girl that i truly liked but she broke up from a serious heterosexual relationship to be with me. We were happy together but our immediate family was not and was making to difficult for us to have a proper relationship and it was pulling us apart from our family. So it hurt us both immensely when we broke up but i am still sure it was the right thing to do. So depending on your relationship and the problems i am sure you know what you need to do. i've been there. if there is a question in your mind, then it's time to go. life's to short to waste time with people you're on the fence about. find someone better. there's 6 billion people out there; i guarantee at least a few million are better than who you've got now.
