Dear Mr. MccWiz,

I am ever so glad that you have finally realized you can become a Wizard. I have always believed that you've been born with special abilities like that of my former and favourite student Mr.Potter. It's just a matter of time before you enroll for a Seven Year complete course at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and open yourself up for the magical world.

Applications for [I'm afraid you have to start as a first year despite being 26 year old] the First Year would be open from May the 15th until June the 28th. Once you apply, you will be sent notifications of school joining through an owl no matter where you are.

Upon enrolling for the First Year, you shall be taught some basic Spells like Alohomora, Wingardium Leviosa and Lumos, and you shall be trained in ever essential Potion making. You can refer to the the list of books which will be sent to you upon your application acceptance, for more details on the kinds of Spells you will be learning in the First Year. So, keep your fingers crossed !

I shall be looking forward to receiving you at Hogwarts soon.

With love,

Albus Dumbledore
The Head Master

You must bear in mind that most of wizardry involves language and the careful use of language. One misplaced letter, one mispronounced syllable and disaster may follow!

Learn how to use language. Read everything you can.

Learn the reason why the word is "advice" and not "edvice."

Entrance exam quiz question: What is the best way to invoke the powers of the Dread Dormammu to complete a spell? Multiple choice:(A) Kiss his dreaded backside, (B) Promise him your loyality for all eternity, (C) Give him your first born,(D) Flip him the bird. If you are 26 it may be too late. You have to start as an apprentice no later than age 10. So you have missed 16 years of training already. :(

First get wizardry for dummies part 1. Then follow the steps. Craft yourself a wand, its difficult to buy a good one nowadays. and start practicing the spells. After you are able to do the simple ones it will become alot easier.

I believe that those are powers you are born with and develop as you grow older. I guess it is possible to try and learn, though.
