I loved the game, but when i install it on my new computer it does not work right at all.

try to look up patches and install any that you need. Also try to find any cracks to the game to see if you can play it on a XP PC.

I actual have Sim city 2000 additionally. i attempted getting it to artwork final 365 days with XP. i'm thinking I had to run it from the command instantaneous. (initiate/Run then sort in CMD). It did artwork if I keep in mind. you're able to bypass to the folder from the cmd instantaneous then run this technique from the folder. Now seem what you have long previous and finished! when I get residing house, i'm going to could set up it and play it! If i'm getting it working any incorrect way i'm going to edit this answer.
