I believe there are some things that are illegal in the US that are truly victimless. I also believe that any truly victimless crime shouldn't be a crime at all.

What are your thoughts?

There are many victimless crimes, which truly do not harm anybody, such as growing and smoking pot in your own home, or "scalping" tickets.

there are truly no victimless crimes. every crime has the potential to injure or kill someone no matter how minor it may seem. for instance running a red light, if another car tries to pass, you have a wreck, you have injured someone.
any crime in the right circumstance can be deadly.

I agree with you- with regard to substance abuse and to a degree prostitution but these things have the potential to impact other people negatively maybe because they are illegal now...and or potentially dangerous..therefore I think they should be regulated not illegal...because it doesnt erase the crime only in many cases making it more dangerous to the victims and bystanders
