I think that's a tough one....But I'm rolling with Bird & Stockton..

That's a helluva matchup ... Bird was a little more mean than Dirk, Larry Legend would do something borderline dirty and get good shots. Stockton and Nash would negate each other ... Gimme Bird & Stockton ...

Why is Bird playing with Stockton? I think Dirk and Nash would win because neither Bird nor Stockton was a great shooter... and usually making shots is bigger in 2 on 2 where you can't run a huge screen and roll.
It also depends if it is half-court or full court. If it is half- then I would definitely pick Dirk and Nash because shooting is much more important. Full court would be closer and I could definitely see Larry & John pulling it out.
It would be more fun to watch Stockton & Malone play Nash & Marion, by the way.

I'd go with Dirk and Nash for one simple reason. Dirk is taller than Bird. That's it if you think about. They both have very good shots and the other two are great passers with excellent court vision.

I WOULD TAKE OLD SCHOOL, BIRD AND STOCKTON. THEY WOULD DELIVER A FEW LICKS TO THE YOUNGSTERS.
