how long do you have to go to school for to become a dental hygeienst?

I hate school, but am thinking i should go back and actually do something with my life. i have no clue what i want to be. if i am going to go to college i want it to be worth it. i heard a dental hygeienst takes 2 years... but im thinking that is wrong and its probably 4 years. anyone know how long you have to go to school for, and do you think it would be worth it?

I have found dental hygeniest programs on the community college level at the Associate of Science level. An associates degree takes two years to complete.
