Neither, it's just right. We are able to protest in Washington (there is always someone camped out in front of the White House protesting) and we just had 2 major protests on Capital Hill (Right to Life and anti-war) in the past 2 weeks. Furthermore we are able to vent our frustrations with Government here on the net (and believe me, it would be easy to track who is saying what if they wanted to). We can do this all without fear of being prosecuted. By the same token, if your free expression includes a threat to harm someone else (in effect threatening to deny them of Life, Liberty or the Pursuit of Happiness), you will be jailed (for threatening bodily harm or trespassing on private property). So all in all it works pretty well. The only bad thing is when someone does something crazy (like the anti-gay protesters at military funerals, that is a violation of other individuals right's and the individuals they are bothering have nothing to do with the issue), but they can't arrest them unless they get out of hand or really get in peoples face's. I say it's not perfect but it's pretty darn good!
