Do you think it's rude if I don't thank someone for giving me best answer?

I'm not trying to be,but I just feel like an a** when I do. Maybe I'm more shy than I thought.
Do you thank everyone who gives you best answer?

Is it proper yahoo etiquette to do so?

I generally don't thank them...maybe I should, thanks, now I feel bad!

I don't think that it is rude not to. When I first started Yahoo Answers, I didn't know how to contact the person who gave me the ten points. I do like to thank them now. If they have an accessible email address.

a BA is a small gift of appreciation for your effort (that is, by answering). when one gives you a gift, is it polite to thank them, no matter how small the favor? a simple "thx" will do, but i often think of something nice to say to that person in return.

Oh I normally don't thank anyone.. but maybe I should. I guess that would be the right thing to do...

I usually do.However,it seems the nicer I try to be,the ruder everyone else is to me.So,I have stopped doing it.

it doesn't bother me at all if someone doesn't and i usually (but not always) leave a thank you or comment posted but i doubt how many are read

well you don't have to. i usually do if the allow emails. if not, i will leave a thanx in the comment box.

I don't say THANK YOU! because I don't know that person but it was a friend I would...LOL!

I do leave some comment, if a thanks is due, i will say it.
