Since there is a 15% discount, you are actually paying for 85% of the cost.

.85 X 35.45 = 30.13

You just have to take the amount of the item you want to buy

$35.45

and take the percent and turn it into a decimal

0.15

so...

35.45 x 0.15 = 5.32

and minus the answer from the price of the item

35.45 - 5.32 = 30.13

so the game should cost $30.13

Just like 100% of 3 = 3 (what one does here is make 100% into a decimal = 1.00, then multiply it with 3.)

Therefore... 15 % of 35.45 is (0.15 * 35.45) = 5.3175. Since its units is money, $5.32.
Now since it's the discount that matters, subtract:
35.45 - 5.32 = $30.13.
TADA!!! : )
