I have been with this guy for almost 2 years we are getting married in may but i am confused. See I was with this guy named mike before my new guy eric. Eric was with his now ex ashley which they had a kid together Kaden. When mike and i broke up because he was cheating on me with ashley. i was destoyed. He was my first love and I lost "it' to him. Mike and Ashley had a kid and now have a nother one on the way. Me and eric got together and i just found out we are going to have our first child togetherbut for some reason I still have felling for mike. Even thought he was abusive and put me in the hospital 4 times. Is it wrong for me to still care about him? Should I not be with eric just so I dont have to be any where near mike? what should i do... I am just confuse??? But I really don't want to have feeling for mike I want to hate him! Why can't I? If someone could please give me some advice I would love it and thank you.

You are always going to have feelings for someone you loved, they just dont go away. However, you have developed love for Eric and are going to have a child with him. You are going to be forever bonded. Even in the triangle you are in, you can be happy with Eric and have "left over feelings" for Mike. They will change with time. Don't sacrifice something just because you are scared of what could happen. If it is difficult, just distance yourself from Mike as often as possible or if you are around him concentrate on Eric. I hope all turns out well.

Go to a counselor it might help to figure out why you cant let go and then you will be able to move on. Eric is obviously a better choice for you.
