Definitely a qb

Well if I were the Raiders G.M. which i am, jk, i would Not draft a RB. The raiders signed LaMont Jordan last season to be a star running back. He wasn't great but i would give him some more time so the RB position is out of the question. At QB they have Aaron Brooks or Andrew Walters. Both of them need some help on their game But iw ouldn't draft a QB because Brooks got injured and wasn't really ever 100% healthy. Same case with Jordan. On the defense they have All-Pro Derrick Burgess but after that their Defense is awful. Their problem is offense line. They can't protect the Qb. That's what they need the most. But in this upcoming draft the O-Line prospects are depleted. They should draft JaMarcus Russel or Calvin Johnson. They have no Wr's. Randy Moss was a no show and should be traded. Johnson was a sensational all-star in College and wil be HOF one day. It is either Rusell or Calvin Johnson.

There are alot of indications that they will take JaMarcus Russell - QB with the first pick. I have a hard time believing this because they have always been a team to pick up a player off of the scrap heap and give him an opportunity to become a great player (Plunkett, Gannon). I don't think a RB because LaMont Jordan is fine, he just needs an O-line. Al Davis loves fast receivers and don't be shocked if he takes Calvin Johnson - WR first overall.

If I were GM, I would try to trade down and get as many picks as possible. This is going to be a deep draft and they have alot of holes. I would really focus on both lines, offensive and defensive in this draft.

J. Russell may be the no brainer here, but they need more than a QB that will take more than a couple of years to mature. Remember, he did not play in a pro set offense. He played that Option Read that has become so popular for athletic QB's. I believe the Raider will trade down and possibley pick up two or three picks. Beef up the O line and WR positions, maybe pick up a free agent QB or draft Chris Leak, who I think will be better than JR.

They need a quarterback. But I don't know if drafting one would be the answer. They also need a good young running back, which would actually be better than drafting a qb. Their defense was ranked 3rd in the NFL last year so I don't think they need too much help there. Their offensive line was terrible last year as well. I think they should pick up a good jouneyman quarterback, draft a good runningback first, then focus on that O-line.

Gotta take the QB. D. Russell of LSU is head and shoulders physically above the rest of the QB pack, with probably the strongest college arm since John Elway was throwing rockets at Stanford in the early 1980s. Russell looks like a no-brainer, so the Raiders will probably figure out a way to F-it up.

a Qb. The raiders Defense were actually kinda good. Better than some of the so called defenses on good teams I think they should give lamont jordan a little more time.

I heard this on ESPN Satellite Radio: "What I would do if I were Al Davis is chuck a bomb into the Raiders clubhouse."

Cant remember who said it, but it's sound pretty close to what may happen. I dont think the Raiders have a chance no matter who they draft.

I would draft an entire new team, if that was possible. As is, if they don't get a qb in the first round, they're as retarded as I think they are.
