I want a good laptop for <$1000

1) Budget- <$1000
2) Size of Laptop- does not matter, 15.4 or 17 maybe
3) games? Yes, age of empires 3, world of warcraft, flight simulator X
4) Hard drive space- more than 80GB
5) RAM- at least 1GB
6) OS- Dont care about vista
7) Brand- not gateway, dell, or compaq
8) I want it to last for about 4 years (high school)

They usually offer some cheap shipping prices too.

If you are opposed to it, then try best-buy. They have pretty good prices for lap-tops. also make sure to get the service plan. its expensive, but so worth it if the thing messes up. i know from personal experience :P

For serious gaming? I doubt it. through the time you end boosting it as a lot because the position it will be, you'll likely have paid more desirable than a grand. yet who knows? you should locate a good good purchase available.
