ok if you were to divide a pizza into 4 slices.
James would eat only 1 slice out of four slices total which is 1/4 or 25 percent
arthur then grabs 2 slices otherwise half the pizza which equals 1/2 or 50 percent.

If going over his lession is the same as studying then... you find the common denominator
1/4 and 2/4, then of course Auhur studies longer... but goving over his lesson may not mean studying..

think of it like this.....1/4 is 25%... 1 in 4 like there are 4 quarters in a dollar......so, 2/4 is 50%...make sense????
