Likely insignificant, some sort of biological thing comes along all through history to thin out the herd.. (plagues etc) If you think about it higher populations eventually mean higher death rates eventualy to the biological factor.. wars dont really threaten the "big picture" of populations... you get low on people to fight they stop fighting.. the "bugs" pretty much keep on going...
