How disturbing is it to you that a legend like Ric Flair was eliminated first from the RR.The match had nobodys like MVP,The Miz,Sandman and some stupid vampire. Flair deserves so much better,I didn't really expect him to win but I damn sure didn't expect him to be the first one out.

Let's face it, Flair is old. It's time that he took a step back from the limelight and let the younger guys shine awhile. Sure, he's a ratings getter, but do we really need to keep seeing him wrestle so much? I loved Flair during his heyday, but it's time that some of the younger guys get a shot at glory. MVP may not be a hot property right now, but he has potential. The Miz needs to be released by WWE. He's taking up space that a legitimate wrestler could have right now. Sandman is popular in ECW circles. Heck, I like him. The vampire dude, Kevin Thorne, is another Gangrel in the making. Actually, Gangrel and the Brood were rather interesting to watch. This new vampire guy isn't going to last long unless he changes his gimmick real quick.

the match of the night was cena/umaga. the rumble had some odd lines going on. 1. flair going out early was confusing. 2. finlay lasting 30 minutes was boring. 3. there was a period where sd, raw, and ecw either boring or mid card wrestlers came out like 10 in a row (i think kane was the exception). 4. viscera being taken out by 10 people has been done already. 5. taker taking out khali?, why not khali take out viscera and have 10 people follow khali afterwards; we have seen taker/khali already. 6. there were no surprises. 7. sandman being taken out in 10 seconds was a joke; he's a ecw cornerstone and should have been given a few minutes at least (at least dreamer was given a little time). 8. the miz (enough said).

Yet there were a few things that were great storylines...1. RKO eliminated the Hardys; this sets up a possible change of belts if Jeff drops the IC belt first plus 2) edge/orton is being set up as a feud 3) orton is being set up as the next champ yet this goes back to #2 and #1 4) the ending was fantastic with taker and hbk

First of all, Sandman is about as much of nobody as Ric Flair, and I'm offended you would call yourself a "serious fan" and then turn around and call him that. Ric Flair has a history in the Rumble, winning the '92 one. I think it is a shame that he was booked that way. Ric Flair is a a great wrestler, probably the best ever besides Bret Hart or Shawn Micheals. Flair's time as a main eventer has come and gone. WWE looks at him just like they look at the ECW originals, as enhancement talent or "jobbers".

well first off u should not be calling the sandman or MVP and Kevin Thorn Nobodys becuase they are very talented and well in-ring wrestlers. That is just the way that the writers from the brand wanted Ric Flair to get out. It was not in any specific order it was how vince mcmahon and the creative writers wanted the wrestlers to get out. Personally I see how you would want him to stay in longer but thats the way it goes. Theres always next year.

There's nothing worse to me than the guy you love who just stays around too long ... (Michael Jordan w/ the Wizards, etc.). But what Flair can do is (storyline wise) ... he can be the old guy who gives the younger guys a run for their money and make them dig deep to beat the old, yet wily veteran. Make no mistake though - Ric is way past his prime, and the Rumble is definitely not a match where he should have been in the first place !!

it is done to build uo the fued with flair and kenny. Also kenny has been given a push lately and a great way to do this is by letting them have wins over the legends in the business such as ric flair.
Ric Flair likes to put over superstars.

What WWE has been planning to do is have the older wrestlers fall and be bad like flair so they can make more room for younger ones that is why he went out first.

He's, like, 65 years old or so... Legend or no, they aren't going to put him over when he's more than likely not going to be wrestling too much longer on a day to day basis. They're using him to get their younger stars over now. So, it's not that disturbing to me. He's still a legend and nobody can take that from him.
