It cleans itself, doesn't it.....I've got Bosch as well, and I don't actually wash it, only clean the filter at the bottom sometimes.

They sell dishwasher cleaner. It is called "Jet-Dry Dishwasher Cleaner" - I have bought it at Walmart before and used it when we lived in a house that used city well water. The dishwasher would turn an orangish color from the hard water build up and the cleaner would make it look like new again! It has to be used in an EMPTY dishwasher. It was a little spendy but really worked great.

Run a cup of white vinegar through the dishwasher once a week. It'll keep everything clean and odor free!

All kinds of stuff you can use but the easiest and cheapest is a package of lemonade Kool-Ade. Dump it in the bottom of the machine and run a cycle empty. Gets the walls, top and bottom nice and clean. Be sure its lemonade, other flavors don't work.

There are a variety of things you can do to help keep it clean.

One is to run bleach through it periodcially, just to eliminate germs and bacteria. Pour in a cup of bleach, and then set it on RINSE

To remove any built-up soap scum, pour in vinegar, about three cups, (four if you wish) and run the WASH cycle..
