Ok, so Congress is against President Bush's plan right? If they vote against it, what does that mean? Since Bush is Commander in Chief can't he override them? Or can they deny funding for the war? What exactly can Congress do? I'm just curious as to what power Congress has over the President's war plan.

The congressional cowards could defund the war, but that would make them look like they don't support the troops.

They can stop the funds but they are afraid to because the President is right and when we win in Iraq they don't want to look like the idiots they are. They hate the President,They hate the military and they would rather us lose the war then the President be right~ You could say what you want Dems but that's how the defeatocrats in the Senate and Congress feel. People like murtha,carter and kerry going around globally slamming Our country. They should be put in jail for treason!

they can't stop bush to send more troops in Iraq
they can vote against any Bush's request of new funds
but they already say they will never do that in order to keep
safe the troops already deploy.
at this point the only way to stop Bush is impeach him
even Bush decide to use a nuke weapon in iraq or Iran the congress cant do nothing cause is an executive decision

congress- vote against it. bush-override it. congress- deny funding. bush- fund it himself with help of republicans everywhere. congress- get mad. bush always finds ways out of things, doesn't he???
