Exfoliate! Those scrubs with little tiny beads that feel like grains of sand work wonders for your skin, scrubbing your skin clean so that your makeup has a smooth, even, surface to start with.
Moisture is essential.
Dry skin is flaky, which makes your makeup flake up. Use lotion daily that is light, oil free, and has an SPF of at least 15 to keep your skin hydrated.
Cream, silicone based foundations last longer than liquid. Blot it on with a sponge instead of wiping it on and only use it in the spots that you really need it.
With blush, powders are better than creams but a gel cheek tint is the longest lasting of all.

To to make your blush last.make sure to apply it after using powder to set your foundation. Another idea for making blush last longer is to use a cream blush instead of a powder blush. Cream blushes blend into skin and allow the color to last longer. My favorite trick to use is to use a mild cream blush first and apply a powder blush over it. You'll be blushing all night long!

Either try a cream blush, they tend to be a little heavier, or after your makeup routine, dust finishing powder over your entire face. It will set your blush, eyeshadow, foundation etc.

Apply powder after the blush.

Don't buy cheap blush to begin with. I like cream blush from Sephora and I dust it with powder. It stays all day!
