First I would be very disappointed, I would expect him to call me for a ride or stay where he is at. Most likely take the keys away as he is a teenage son for a period of time. This is so serious, he could kill himself and others. This is something you just don't do. If your going to drink, be responsible, and stay put or call for a ride!

Take away his driving privileges for a long time ... ground him for awhile too ... no going out ... no friends over ... no visiting friends ... go to school and come home ... give him a few more chores at home to do and really sit down and talk to him about how bad drinking & driving is ... make sure he knows what he did was wrong - believe me a spanking isn't going to do that ... he'll just hate you more for hurting him physically ... if he doesn't learn ... I'd call the cops and see if they have any "scare" tactics or not ... lol ... good luck ... !

Enroll him in the MADD programs they have all over the country! That'll teach him ~ not only will he learn the importance of not drinking and driving ... but he'll never ever want to visit another one of those seminars EVER AGAIN!!! Oh, and take away his car keys til I felt like he'd learned a lesson.

I'd take away his car and/or driving privelages for a year. And I might make him pay a few visits to some families that suffered a loss at the hands of a drunk driver.

#1- no car or keys for a looong time.
#2- no hanging out so he can get drunk for a looong time. its home and school and to work if he has a job.
I actually know a girl who's dad took her to the station and let her suffer the repercussions. she had to do like 60 hours of community service and had her liscence taken away- it taught her well.

take his keys away first thing. then i would beat the living crap out of him for being so stupid.just lost his driving privelage for a very long time.cant let it slide it could be serious and i know you know that so nip in a s s now dont let him think its ok and not a big deal b/c nothing happened this time

No license, No Computer, and if there was any hint of ugliness on his part, things would get worse.
Loss of allowance, additional house cleaning chores, Remove room door, and, a piece of the butt if need be.

I would drive him to the cemetery and introduce him to his plot and the plots of the others he may be killing in the future !
If this did not help I would contact authorities and have his license revoked.

Take his license away for a few weeks! If he drives without it, then I would take it away for a year!
