I'm in college now to become an elementary school teacher. No, you don't have to take high school chemistry, but you will have to take science in college. The high school chemistry will be a big help. I hated high school chemistry, but I was glad I took it when I took my biology course in my freshman year.

well you didn't say where you live so it's hard to tell you. here where i live you don't (ontario).
