If you have a dell or hp, they have a separate recovery drive for things like that. if you want just factory settings, then throw in your windows cd and do a fresh install.

THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING ON THE HD, so be sure you know what your doing :P

when you bought your p.c you would of got a disk called a recovery disk
this basically is given to you to restore your p.c to it "factory settings",in other words the way it was when you took it out of the box
the disk is normally a silver disc with the name of the company on it,also you shuld be aware that you will loose all data when you recover your p.c so back up all data prior to the recovery
if you have lost your p.c,s recovery disk you can normally obtain one through the service and warranty departement
good luck

Go into your bios and there is an option there to restore the default settings.

If you don't know then don't try it. You need to have computer savvy to do it. You will probably mess up your computer. Ask someone who knows how to do it for you.
