I grew up on a farm. I really loved it and now living in a city. What dou perfer and why?

I prefer country life. I like the quiet nights and starry skies. I love the low crime rate and my kids playin in the yard. We have a beautiful creek that runs behind our house. Lots of deer around too. I could never live in the city.

I would prefer the farm life. You don't have the distraction of the fast pace of the world. The city life makes your day goes by so fast that you don't get to enjoy the life that is here on earth. Do you ever just get a chance in the middle of the day and go and get some peace of mind down by a stream and listen to the wind blow and smell the flowers and feel the grass. Life always seem too short in the city. Families are closer in the farm life than the city life. I have lived both farm and city and farm is way better as a whole for the family and life itself

City. I grew up in the city, then spent time in both small towns and on farms with family. There's nothing to do, no where to go. At least in the city you can go to a mall. I like to hang out at book stores, just to read all the new stuff that's out. Just the fact of bookstores alone make cities better than farm.

I grew up in a mountain community, and I must say, while I love the scenery up there, I prefer the city. There is more to do, more to see. Plus, the people who were around when I grew up were gossiping about others (because they had nothing else to do) and just weird.

I too grew up in the country (wholesome living) and moved to the city now approx. 25 yrs. I prefer country, less smog, congestion, slower pace of life, allows you to appreciate nature. City living is hectic and for people who need constant stimulation or are corportate driven(the environment) of dog-eat-dog. I plan to go back to country for peace-of-mind.

I live in rural area but work in a city. I have the best of both worlds, except of course my little commute of an hour.
