The payee!! If they ar incarcerated it might depend. Would you get custody of the child? Keep paying until told otherwise, the money is for the kids not the payee.

Someone is supporting that child. If the payee is in jail the child is either with another relative or in substitue care. You need to contact the child support agency to have payments redirected, but your support will not stop unless YOU are now the custodian.

No. It does not stop. It just continues to accrue arrears.
