R=rest
I=ice
C=compression
E=elevation
rest it, ice it for 20 minutes every 4 hrs for 72hrs, ACE wrap it if it helps(not too tight though) and last, elevate it as much as you can-above your heart if you can.

Did you not go to the Dr. for this? 1st you have to the pharmacy, and get the ask the pharmacist for the right size elasticized roll of sprain gage for your ankle, probably sm. When you get home wrap tight, but not too tight, to cut off your circulation, make it swell, oruncomfortable. We just want to hold all the ligements together. &as much as you can keep your foot elevated,meaning above r heart, use a pillow if necessary. You can also take a warm foot bath to ease discomfort & take r usual pain med advil,
asperin, whatever u you for pain. But u still shoud see your Dr.
Hope u get well soon, and this helps you out, plse stay off r foot
as much as you can, and you won't feel when it heals.

dont put any pressure on it....lots of ice to keep the swelling down and always have it up

just tape it up and take some ibprofen. you'll be alright
