There is someone I know who I think is very "sweet" and the reason is because she is always concerned and conscious of offending others. She is always very careful to make sure she doesn't say anything offensive, and if she thinks something she said is offensive, she will apologize and explain herself. I think she's sweet because she obviously does not want to hurt anyone.

Guys - the way he puts his hand on the small of my back when we walk, the way he comes up with a special nic-name, when he blushes, when he insists on doing something for me that I could easily do myself.
Girls - when she calls just to tell me a funny story, the way she always has something special out for my kids when we visit, when she drives to my house late at night because I need someone to talk to.

Somebody I consider very sweet is very quick to admit his mistakes, apologize, and take steps to improve in the future. His commitment to self-improvement is a great motivator and it's very comforting to know he won't continue a mistake out of stubbornness or spite.
