It's close to 7 million people who make less than $7.25/hour. It's close to 2 million who are at minimum wage or lower. Question is how many jobs are their in the United States?

The government estimates over 130 million, but that was in May of 2005, so you can bet it is a lot more now.

About 200,000,000. Some people hold 2 or 3 jobs, so employed persons is different from jobs (positions)

Being that the number is in constant flucuation, I don't know who would count them all but you could ask the IRS how many people were issued W2s last year . . .
That would be a clue.
