Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg. No wait Nanny's cat - I can't remember its name as I haven't read the witch stories for years. Rincewind is always good for a laugh.

CMOT Dibbler ( or D'Blah as the character is known in the books set outside Ankh Morpork)
Also like Sybil, bit of a background character but very well written.

Teppic, followed by Vimes, Vetinari, Greebo and You B*stard. I'd also love to see a book about a very minor character, Withel (I think), who is the second in command of the thieves guild in one of the early books.
I love Pratchett's characterisation. It's a real talent he has, to make you sympathise with all of his characters, not just the heroes or the ones you're "supposed" to like.

Vetinari. He gives the cows plentry of room to roam, and then just watches them. It is a fantastically efficient way of ruling, almost by sleight of hand.
