Have you ever read about this? I read about it in a Con Law case book... it is a brutal process.

Tell Hanoi "Born Again" Jane she needs to protest abortion, and not a legitimate, just, and moral war in Iraq.

All these liberals cry about abu Grahib but support the wanton killing and dismemberment of a child just outside his mother's womb.

Shame...

"I am optimistic enough to believe that, one day, Stenberg v. Carhart will be assigned its rightful place in the history of this Court’s jurisprudence beside Korematsu and Dred Scott. The method of killing a human child–one cannot even accurately say an entirely unborn human child–proscribed by this statute is so horrible that the most clinical description of it evokes a shudder of revulsion." -- Justice Scalia, dissenting.

I don't think anyone with any kind of compassion, liberal conservative or otherwise, supports "partial birth abortion".

Whether or not you support abortion in general, this is a brutal and unnecessary practice that is rarely done. Most doctors refuse to perform it.

You have linked several very unrelated topics (war, torture, the abortion debate) together when each can be argued for or against separately.

The war, and torture, have vast geopolitical implications that have far reaching consequences that we as a country have barely begun to consider. Abortion, whether moral or not, is essentially a personal choice that is only going to affect the family, and the potential child.

What about other abortion preocedures?
You hold out agreeably the most repugnant form of abortion to inflame your arguement!
That is not the only abortion procedure!
Even the Catholic church has agreed the morning after pill can be taken by a nun who has been raped!
So I guess the question is at what point is a fetus a person!

Let me preface this answer by stating I disagree with them vehemently. I am pro-life to the umpteenth degree, so hold your fire, people.

That being said, I think they feel that way for the same reason I'm against banning almost any type of firearm: because that first step makes the second one easier, etc...

The most disgusting thing about partial birth abortion is that it is never medically necessary to save a mother. Yet the left argues that it is performed for just that reason.

I hope you aren't waiting on liberals to be intelligent and rational in their choices... Not gonna happen.
They believe in on demand abortion as birth control, but are against the death penalty! Now there is some consistency of logic, kill innocent babies but protest for Abu Mumia Jamal who killed a PA police officer in cold blood and is now a big cause for lefties like Ed Asner to protest.

when clinton was in office the repub congress supported "partial birth abotion". they must have, they attached the banning of it to a bill they knew would get vetoed. a bill that would have taken money from seniors.

Hey, I'm a pretty liberal, hardcore Democrat, but you are right on with this one. Its disgusting and should be illegal.

They'll use anything to use, as a good reason for American unborn children to die.
