Is the U.S. the only country in the world where Right Wing Republican's think Jesus is a political figure first and savior second, but only if you vote Right Wing Republican? What other country puts religious figures as politicans? Oh, I am a believer in Christ, but not a follower of the blind current day Pharisees.

If Christ was a Right Wing Republican in his time, he would have been pro-Julius Cesar and he would have give into all 3 temptations the devil presented to him. So, no, Christ was not a right wing republican.

nicely for starters the Republican social gathering replaced into based some 1820 years after Jesus' time in the international ended. He ran his own carpentry company, which he gave as much as pursue extra advantageous own ambition + he might have been an apprentice to his earthly father, yet there is physically powerful data that he spent some years at a desert monastery between the Essenes. He replaced into anti abortion (in all risk) + there is not any point out of the challenge interior the Bible so which you will no longer validate that fact He replaced into into advertising liberties and freedoms, and replaced into against special government, and he hated taxes +Jesus promoted liberty (no longer a Republican reason somewhat), yet he pronounced "provide to Caesar that that's Caesar's and supply to God that that's God's" So somewhat Jesus pronounced pay your taxes and understand the government. Jesus made no different point out of earthly government or taxes. Like many Republicans he had a secret lady chum (Mary Magdolin) and he replaced into large non secular + Republicans are no longer the only politicians to have secret girlfriends. the vast majority of male politicos international are to blame of this. The Bible does not say that Jesus had a GF nor does it say he did no longer. a stable candidate for no less than certainly one of his lady SOs replaced into Mary Magdalene. -observe the spelling. Jesus replaced into large non secular - like Jimmy Carter and bill Clinton who're the main churchgoing and religiously inspired US presidents in history; the two Democrats. regardless of Jesus replaced into he replaced into no longer a Republican, much less spectacular wing.

I don't think anyone in this country puts Christ up as a religious figure. In fact, I'm pretty sure most believe that government and religion are completely seperate, this based on what Jesus taught that we should give to Ceaser what is Ceaser's and not God to God. Just because people have morals and beliefs that have an impact upon their politics does not mean they are their politics. Additionally, there are plenty of very strict Christians who are Democrats. I'm Mormon and my faith teaches me to be involved with the community and with government, but that our religion will not get involved. They do not endorse a particular party, but implore the members to become educated, use your head, and follow your morals (this is why you have Harry Reid on the one extreme and Orin Hatch on the other - both Mormon).

You're the first person I've ever seen that claimed Jesus was a Republican. I've seen plenty of "Jesus was a liberal" bumperstickers. The left seems to be the only ones that want to make Jesus a political figure.

Jesus is the Son of God. He has no need for the Cesars of the world, as his Kingdom comes in the end.

As to who else has a theological basis for government, that would be states like Iran, and a few other Islamic nations.

Hope that helps.

Muslim countries often put religious figures as prominent politicians. Think Iran with the Ayatollah. However, the USA is not that extreme.

No, Jesus is more often cited in Left-Wing American churches.

In fact, liberal Christians like Re. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson have run for president.

Democratic politicians actively campaign and attack opponents in Black churches.

Hey all i know is that Jesus was one hell of a guy. And you should know that most politicians sell their souls to the gov't. So anyone who thinks Jesus was a "Right Wing Republican" is a stupid Atheist bastard. I agree with you buddy, I wouldn't listen to a damn thing any of those schmucks try to feed down my throat.

Yes, He has been telling you so everytime a left-wing liberal tells the American people the 10 commandaments are evil, and should not be posted in a public school, court of law, books, private homes, or even in your mind.

I would never give Jesus a political affiliation.

However, He did teach us to love everyone, and be peaceful.

Therefore, He would probably agree with the conservative pro-life stance, and the liberal anti-war stance.

So there.
