my greek tortoise is growing, I have noticed a new ring on her scutes, and they are soft, but the rest of her shell is still hard, my question is, if being soft for now is normal and will they hard with time,or should they be hard as the rest of the others scutes.

The new growth rings are a little rubbery, but this is a good time to review overall cares to make sure you are doing things right- try http://www.tortoisetrust.org.uk for ideas.

I think this is nomal.They might be soft because they are a new part of the shell.I doubt that your tortoise is sick.
