As I said in your other Question would be why? If the dsl is using 192.168.0.1 then the router has to use 192.168.10.1 or any other 192.168.xxx.1. If the dsl does NOT use those numbers, there is no reason to change the router's ip address. And your computers should be obtaining a ip address automatically from the router.
For a linksys the router number is 192.168.1.1 as long as no other device is using that name (the dsl), there is no need to change it. If the dsl does, then you need to change it to 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.10.1 or any other 192.168.xxx.1 number. To enter the linksys, open IE, and put in the address bar (and nothing else) 192.168.1.1 for the linksys. It will ask for user/pass. Username is blank default password is admin (unless you ran the cd, then it's what you change it to).

Ok well your going to type in the ip address that is made for the linksys such as 168.215.1.1 and this is going to go into your address bar on the Internet Explorer (IE) once you do this give it some time a minute or so then a box should pop up and then your going to enter under User - Admin...*Password- Leave Blank unless you are given a password* then click next or whatever it is to continue on and there you will beable to configure your Linksys Router Hopefully that was some help

What does abode windows say once you try to go with the on the spot router to hook up with it? Does it merely say that it can't connect? If the on the spot community (from the router) has a community key (password), and abode windows isn't prompting you for a password, in case you've an incorrect password saved in abode windows. bypass to community and Sharing center, deal with on the spot Networks contained in the area pane, then delete the profile for the router. this can make abode windows on the spot you for the password.

The manual has an IP address in it; Go to that Address, and make the Changes suggested in the Manual or by your ISP.
These changes are very basic, and the manual should guide you easily, if not call Linksys Support and they are very good at helping you go live
