anderson cooperism is a tragic and insidious virus....it eats away at your brain stem while you are nodding mechanically at liberalspeak...and makes you into..well....a buch of protestors and pessimists, while at the same time wanting the gov't to save us from ourselves....
on the other hand, wolf blitzerism causes blood levels to rise to point of wondering where the hell this guy comes from...causing in some major apoplectic nose running until your very body dehydrates from all the hot air being spewn from the channel...you watch cnn at your own risk...i suggest watching fox news for the immunization shot first...the truth seems to keep the insidious liberalism from creeping into your system...

Strange how many conservatives are naive enough to think abortion didn't happen when it was illegal. Just as there isn't any drug abuse because it's illegal, ha ha. People wanting to ban anything that they don't like is what causes most of the problems in the world. Although they will never see this. I don't consider myself liberal or conservative. I've got a mind of my own.

Notice the use of capital letters to lowercase letters; "liberalism" is not bad, "Liberalism" is. There is nothing wrong with wanting the government to leave you alone, which is what 'liberalism" means. The problem is, "Liberals" have hijacked the term to mean the government's sole responsibility is to provide everything to its citizens. The way things are going, it will take a natural phenomenon to end the reign of terror being led by today's "Liberals."
EDIT: To anyone who does not believe there is a difference between liberal and Liberal, please take a political science class, or at least read a book once in a while.
stormer_x puts it so much clearer than I:
The first "liberal" you described is correct. That's what liberalism is. The Democrats, are called "Liberals" because they agree in many ways with Liberalism. (So do most Republicans.) However, when using "Liberals" to refer to members of the Democratic Party, the word should be capitalized. Hardly anyone gets this right. From text books to newspapers, they say liberal when they mean Liberal.
Ted Kennedy is a Liberal, but George Bush is not. Both George Bush and Ted Kennedy are liberals.
Many times, the words can be interchanged. For example, both Liberals and liberals would probably support a women's right to use birth control.
However, Liberals also have social welfare policy that is found nowhere in classical liberalism. But since they're Liberals, and apparently capitalization is too much to ask for, liberalism has come to mean socialism.
Probably the truest classical liberals are the libertarians. But they had to get a new word since Liberals stole theirs!
Speak to any political science scholar. They will know the difference between a "capital L Liberal" and a "lower case L liberal." In fact, they often will use those terms for clarity when lecturing.

So he too, like my cousin, was so weakened that his shallow pulse and wasted muscles could not even click his way to the truth. Will this disease never end? The cure for it and Glenbeckitis must be out there somewhere!

I've seen a lot of people reduced to zombies, unable to think and only able to repeat neo-lib talking points, but I didn't know it was fatal.
