There are about 85 schools of pharmacy in the USA. NYU does not have one of them.
Do an online search for colleges of pharmacy. For the most part it doesnt matter which one you go to. Pharmacy grads have to take a difficult licensing exam after they graduate, so all the colleges teach to prepare their grads for that test. They are all so similar in curriculum that you learn pretty much the same thing in all of them.
I think St Johns in New York has a pharmacy college. Also, URI, UConn, Northeastern, Temple and several other schools not too far from NY. Check it out.

Adding to what Matt said, if you're thinking of NYU for undergrad, than sure. It's a top ranked university, so if you get good grades their, you'll look good.
