I want to to do something for the country and I dont know if the Army is my solution? should I join?

I want to be helpfull for the US and I've been thinking about joining the Army I am putting a lot of toughts in to this idea and I still dont know if itws the right thing or if I should find something eals to do. The maine reason why I want to joing the army is because my boyfriend is going to the navy and I know he will be doing something really good for the country and I want to feel just the way he feels yet I do not wish to go to the navy I rather go to the army but I am very insecure, I feel like It might be too much for me to handel so what should I do?

Hi , yes I see your conflict over what to do it is a major life decision. I was in the US Army myself . Remember when you are in the military you do not have the freedoms you now enjoy. Joining the Army now may be a very long term commitment because they extend a lot of people even when their service time is up. In the era I was in the Army when you finished your service obligation you were back in the ranks of the land of the free. Speak to your parents and find some people currently in the Army and listen to their experience. Good Luck.

I agree, the terrorists and the countries that are sponsoring them are causing global warming. None of them have recycling or first rate water and sewage structures, and the factories they have aren't any further even rated for pollutants, in Kabul, the air has 80 2 % fecal count number dirt in it, so isnt that tremendous for all our adult males, I swear i have been given ill each and every time i went with the help of that hollow, what we want is a real crew of global Police, clone of crew u.s., f yeah, right here we come to keep the mfn day now. I accept as true with the celebs having to close up there sorry mouths too, tthey imagine that merely because they are well known because they coulnt do a real mans pastime, that they have got the right to speak for some thing else human beings, at cases, i trust that speaking out adverse to us, the human beings doing it shouold be banished for treason, in the adventure that they dont like American coverage they could get out. you could always go to college and become something ... and the army or navy pays for your college you could be in computers,lawyer,judge, pretty much ne thing you want and not have to fight, but you could also do the same thing not bein in the army or navy and still help out our country... look in to other things you could do to show your sapport and even being a lawyer would help with the criminal justice......

ask yourself this. am i willing to die for this country? no matter what your job is and i mean if you are a cook, a infantryman, or a topographic analyst. you can be shot and you can be killed. if the answer is yes then i recommend joining.
