For my last pregnancy one of my favorite snacks was the Quaker mini rice cakes, they come in a bunch of different flavors. I really liked the carmel corn cakes they tasted sweet and not like a health food :) I also always kept a few granola bars in my car and purse along with some bags of nuts, twizzlers, and peanut butter m&m's. Another thing that I really enjoyed snacking on was hummus with either pita bread or veggies.

congrats on your pregnancy!

While it is very good that you are trying to eat well for your and your baby's health, remember that most things are perfectly fine in moderation....if you feel the desire for an occassional chocolate cake, some ice cream, a candy bar, a fast food meal, etc., it is perfectly OK. As long as the majority of your meals are balanced and you follow your doctor's advice about foods to avoid, you'll be fine. And to give you specific suggestions, cheese and crackers, PB and J on crackers or bread, a handfull of nuts, baked potato, green apples with peanut butter...sound gross but it's SOOOO good!!! A bit of dry cereal...yeah it has sugar, but is loaded with vitamins too.
Good luck and congrats.

I highly suggest yogurt, string cheese, cottaqe cheese, some cereals like cream-o-wheat or cereals with Folic Acid for baby. They are great to use as snack foods inbetween meals. Maybe also try some Natrue Valley Granola bars. I'm expecting too and these are just a few things I eat. I hope this helps you!!! :)

I crave various of sweet and salty mixtures. you recognize such issues as twinkies and potato chips. although, i have discovered that eating some grapes and salted cucumber slices jointly appeases that yearning. I also LOVE apple slices and cheddar cheese jointly. it is the perfect blend of salty and sweet. once you're yearning only the sweet junk nutrition you may try substituting sweet end result for the junk nutrition. of direction, you mustn't thoroughly alienate the junk nutrition out of your weight help plan. try procuring a bag of candies so that you'll have on from time to time yet are not tempted to munch the entire bag without caution. good luck and congratulations!

For a solid lunch snack, try a toasted peanut butter, banana, and honey sandwich. It's healthy and nutritous. Also, try a tomato sandwich but on a blueberry bagel, surprisingly, its tasty and you can knock off the mayo/cream cheese!

Pretty much anything you crave. Cravings are often the body's way of signaling you need a certain nutrient. (like if you're craving ice cream or cheese - you might need more calcium.)

Don't go crazy eating - but eat small amounts of whatever you feel like.

Nuts and granola bars were always good to have handy. I always had that and oatmeal and stuff like that around for when I couldn't get a "real meal" ..and for some reason I couldn't get enough oranges...

Congratulations by the way!!

You can eat anything that you crave! You are pregnant. It's the reason that we get to eat at all hours of the day!!!

I ate everything that I craved and just made sure that I exercised and got plenty of rest. My children are now 9 and 8 and quite healthy!

Enjoy this time and congratulations!

I absolutely loved popping a handful of walnuts and raisins (combined) in my mouth when I wanted something yummy and healthy. Dang that tasted so good to me!
