I am an employment coach. Here are some suggestions. First do a SKILLS based resume, verses an employment history resume. For example, you might have a team work category, an office skills category, and a problem solving category. Then you are able to talk about the skills you have in those areas, verses describing the kind of jobs you've had. Some examples of skills developed from non-employment are: sports provides teamwork, discipline, and tenacity. Student government gives you teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills. Babysitting gives you problem solving, responsibility, and caring (customer service) skills. If you got terrific grades you can accurately say you have discipline, problem solving, and dedication. You should also include your volunteer experience on your resume (if you don't have volunteer experience, start now to get some). I recommend you DON'T include hobbies, grade point, or "interests" on your resume. Those things are not appealing to an employer. Also remember that most employers look at the TOP half of the page, and if you don't stand out by then, you won't get an interview, so put your strongest skills at the top half of the page. Best of luck to you!

Try a functional resume. There are many examples of them on-line. This will target your skills rather than your experience.

the resume isnt important, job experience, interest, education will do fine, the important part is selling yourself in the interview with confidence and maturity. you can land a good job with a terrible resume, i did, be persistant and get an interview.

Highlight your other skills, like volunteer work, extracurricular activities, any other languages or trades/skills you may know, and any part time work. Also, make it a point to lay out your long term goals in your cover letter.
