If you can't find a study using humans, could you possibly use a study that shows the preference of say primates? That might work in the right kind of paper. You might be the first to observe this particular area, if so, congratulations and good luck. I think it will be an interesting study. If you could share your results that would be good too. I'm curious to see what you've found.

We used an try in my first 3 hundred and sixty 5 days uni psych direction that became gendered even though it will be adapted for visual allure/popularity. It regarded for a correlation between - gender, or popularity on your case, and how lengthy someone ought to save on with instructions (thus instructions) in the previous forsaking them - the instructions given being incorrect. So in truth you get people at diverse ends of a pre-defined popularity spectrum and performance them provide no longer too of direction incorrect instructions on a thanks to finish a walk in the park or or instructions to an area and spot even if the popularity of the guy giving the instructions has any result on the size of time in the previous the participant provides up. i am going to't save in ideas if the outcomes were substantial or no longer and that i look to have thrown out all my psych stuff when I switched to social coverage yet it is the final gist of it. HTH.

Well I don't know if this will help... I'm from South Africa and I did my honours in Psychology in 2005... one of the girls from my year did her thesis on race/gender seating arrangements and whether the different groups sat next to eachother etc... I know she is busy doing her Masters there at the moment and can maybe help you with sources on gender stuff so go to www.ukzn.ac.za look on the site map and go to the psychology-pmb site, also maybe email the prof who is incharge of the gender research at the varsity.. Prof Graham Lindeggar, he might be able to help his email is: Lindeggar@ukzn.ac.za. It says on the site that he will be on sabbatical from feb so better do it soon.
I hope it helps

I actually done this in my first year and I had alot of information on this! Unfortunatley I can't find it so all I can suggest is try and look at the "Blackwells Journals" and also "Swetwise Journals" there very useful and have lots of studies and info in them!
Also if your not with the BPS join up with them you can buy book, journals and join their libary! Here is their link http://www.bps.org.uk/

Try getting into the "PSYCinfo" database. That has ridiculous amounts of experiments. I use it at school.
