For example i email my friend and I do a type error and send it to someone else that i don't know can i delete the message that i sent?

You cant delete the message. The only thing you can do is send another message to the same address and tell them to disregard your last email.
Once it is sent, it is sent. Sorry.

You cannot delete an email you already sent. If you don't know the person, no harm done right?

I don't think you can but if the other person is cool then they won't mind. unless it was something dirty! it was, wasn't it. or you wouldn't be buggin' so much about it.
