He's this amazing guy... we've been friends for a little more than a year, but we've been really tight off and on. He gets mad at me for saying the smallest things, but makes me happy when i'm with him. We've gotten in two big fights, one last February (when we broke up) and one just a week ago. He got really mad at me this time for being "stupid/blonde" and that's when i just blew up. I said something a shouldn't have but i apologized a few times, and he doesn't seem to be forgiving! I really want to stay friends with him, but how?

OH MY.... Just drop him period! What kind of enemies do you have if this is what you consider a friend? You sound like you are in your young teens - there will be THOUSANDS of men after this jerk and I bet by the time you are 16 you will forget this loser's name!

If he is going to hold a grudge, it isn't worth being his friend. Sooner or later, your resentment will build to a point that you will have another blow-up.

You broke up. That makes this difficult to deal with. Guys often have trouble staying friends with girls after a break-up, because they still want the affection without the hassles of the relationship.

Personally, I'd find another person to be close to, or just leave him alone until he cools off.

Its better to find these things out sooner than later. Just think about 10 years down the road, where do you see yourself. That will give you the answer that you need.

He's not a true friend if he keeps calling you names and picking fights with you. So forget him and move on with your life.

If your friend will not let you be yourself, or you can not let him be himself; you need to let it go. Date other people and learn and grow, everything will work itself out in due time.
