in my teens i loved silver and white gold but i realise now that it was just my stupid way of trying to be different to everyone else. Now, however, i love gold (worth so much more with a better resale value for when times are tough!)
as for platinum, well, its nice but it looks like silver and you have to tell everyone that its platinum, which can become a right bore so its gold all the way for me.

I would go with platinum but if I could have whatever I wanted it would be white gold b/c once platinum gets dull or scratched it is crappy looking. At least with white gold you can get it re dipped.

White gold. Yellow gold just seems chavvy these days, and white gold has a nicer shine than platinum.
