I have just a little cough that isn't as bothersome as this swollen lymph node.

There isn't much you can do for swollen lymph nodes. Which sucks because they hurt like a sumbitch. Drink lots of water to try to flush out the toxins. Maybe take some asprin. That's about it.

eat well, plenty of rest, a lot of fluids
stay warm
maybe get in a nice warm sauna for a few hours
