14 yr olds aren't ready for sex emotionally at all. Sex should be saved for marriage.

Cute...please take my advice...You are 14 years old, what you should be worrying about is not sex, there are alot of things that come with the world of sex...wait until you are an adult to experience that, in the mean time follow your dreams, the sky is the limit for you.
Don't do something you may regret, we are total strangers and you have to ask us if you are emotionally ready for sex, that goes to tell you that you are not. You don't even know who you are yet...you are a child, just be a child. Soon enough you'll be "all grown up" with the responsibilities and bills to go along with it and wish you could go back to being a child again. Do Not Have SEX! Please, think about babies, diseases, being teased at school, being abandoned (left alone or ignored) by the person that wants to have sex with you. I know it seems I'm trying to scare you, but if you were in this situation it would be scarier!!!

I got pregnant at 14 and I am having her at 15. Well I will tell you from first hand experience that no we are not ready emotionally ready for sex, but when time comes where you just have to grow up, you do it. I'm just thankful I still have my boyfriend. This whole pregnancy was a true emotional challenge but god put it in my life for a reason

No, I don't even though I had sex at 14. I look back now and cannot believe that I started so early. I always used protection and was lucky that I didn't get pregnant "accidentally". I think a person should wait b/c at 14 you are not emotionally mature.

If a 14 year old thinks they are ready to have sex, they probably aren't. They need to be involved in other things at that age. Once your virginity is gone, it's not coming back.
Are they ready to give that up?
Babies aren't the only worry here, self-esteem and disease are factors too.

Stay young while you can, your innocence goes when you decide at that age to have sex. Is one willing to live with that for the rest of her/his life?
Down the road may be someone very, very special where you would want to give your innocence to. It would be to late for that.

Think about it. There's a lot of time ahead for this question to be answered.

A 14 year old is not emotionally ready for sex. No matter how "careful" you are... condoms, birth control, pulling out... you CAN get pregnant. A 14 year old is not ready to have babies.

14 year olds are NOT ready to have sex. Not only are you not grown up, you don't have money, and your parents will HAVE to take care of the baby unless they can't afford another child, then you will be forced to give it up. What if you get a nasty STD from a guy? Then your living with it your whole life if it's not treatable. What if you get married and can't have a baby because you had sex now?

That depends on the person. Its not the age that matters, but whether or not he/she feels their ready. I waited til I was 20, but I know girls who were 14. The most important thing is to teach how not to get pregnant. All teens should learn about proper condom usage and birth control. If they get pregnant, well no offense, but that's their own fault.

Most of them aren't. But a mental state of being has nothing to do with age. There are adults who aren't emotionally ready for sex.
