OK i was wondering why my computer doesnt work? I installed n update for a blutooth n it said to restart. wen i did it would boot up to the windows vista screen then after it will jus stop. This is th second time. i tried my setting on bios n bootin from a cd but cant any 1 have any answers plz

As soon as you start up your computer, continually press F8 at a medium pace. A DOS menu should come up. Highlight safe mode and hit enter. When it boots up in safe mode, go to start, programs, accessories, system tools and click system restore. Then follow the directions and when asked, choose a date just before your computer was working last. Then follow the rest of the directions and it will reboot your computer and then you should be ok. You might loose your new bluetooth update, but at least your computer will work.

As soon as you said Vista, I knew what the problem is. Go to pcworld.com and read the articles about Vista. When Vista just came out there are still A LOT OF PROGRAMS from antivirus to applications that are not Vista compatible with.
The bluetooth, probably later on, will need a patch to update it to the Vista.
So bootup and press the f10 key. That is what you do with Windows XP now. lol I do not know about Vista. If it works, try and do a Recovery first. and if that dont work you will have to do a restore. Restore will put computer to factory specifications. Now if it started with windows it may go back there. If it does then run the bluetooth and see if it works. If it does then you know wht the problem is. Then if you do not need it that bad just reload Vista. But call the bluetooth dealer and ask around for a patch. You did not say what the update was for either.
