its my first valentines day with my partner of 4 months,i dont want to go over the top,but i just want to show him how much i care for him? Please help?

I agree with the ladies posting--early on in a relationship I would expect nothing but a card. If you want to include a small box of sweets or a nicely framed, smallish photo of yourself, that would be a nice touch beyond simply a card.
I might add, I have recieved small stuffed animals in the past and thought they grand as well.

Just give him a card and tell him how you feel, he wont be expecting a present. All I want to get for valentines day is a card saying "I love you" nothing else is neccessary. Well maybe a kiss would be nice

my husband of 7yrs is getting a big fat ..... nothing! because we've just bought him a brand new yamaha fazer F6 and he's trotting around like a dog with 2 tails. anything i were to get him would pale into absolute insignificance now.

Seriously just a card this early on.
