That depends on your build. I am pretty stout and I wear a full/double Windsor. It looks great AND it's not lopsided like many other knots. It is the most classy knot, I think, but it does look kinda silly on scrawny folks with skinny necks/faces.

The windsor knot is the best that I know. If you want a thicker knot then the double windsor.

I think a square knot is best - looks kinda looney - nobody will bother you if you tie a square knot :)
