A lot of answers chose stinky breath?? Why? Close your mouth and nobody will notice?

I chose B.O. because it may be a good B.O.: the kind that will drive my partner crazy.
Stinky breath, those mornings after…I would just have the urge to brush my teeth, my tongue and gargle with Listerine.

I could stop there but I will not, so let me extrapolate…
Stinky breath is not good, it is down right nasty because it is stinky but it can be easily fixed is some cases. Let’s say you have morning stinky breath. It is just because you did not swallow your saliva all night and bacteria have been multiplying in your mouth causing the bad smell and taste, and all you have to do to fix the problem is brush your teeth, your tongue, have a big glass of fresh water and you will regain your minty breath.
Stinky breath may also be caused by what you ate (garlic anyone?). Some foods will cause you to have a stinky breath so when that occurres, just make a list of what you ate that day. After a few times, you will notice the particular food (or restaurant…yep) that gives you bad breath so you have to avoid it. Stinky breath can also be caused by a problem with your teeth so just visit a dentist and he/she will fix that. Just be sure to brush and floss before going to bed and just after waking up, visit your dentist regularly (one good professional cleaning twice a year is recommended), eat the food that agrees with you. Do not let that unchecked cavity or that old piece of broccoli gross people out.

B.O.? There are two kind of B.O.: the good one and the bad one. Odors are not all bad. Everybody has B.O. that is why dogs can track you though the woods if you’re an escaped convict or a lost child. Even a clean person will smell something under the smell of the deodorant, the shampoo, the perfume, the aftershave, the creams…That odor will be good, neutral or bad. Marry the person who smell good or neutral because you will divorce the one who smell bad. I knew a guy who did a lot of sport and sweated a lot and had that reputation of smelling so bad and he just drove me crazy (crazy in the meaning that I wanted to eat him) with his smell because my nose was compatible with his odor. So a bad smell for a person can be a very good smell for another…

Now the bad kind of B.O. is the one where somebody is sweating stress or fear (have you ever been in a job interview or a good cop/bad cop situation and suddenly you can smell yourself?). That is why animal can smell your fear and then attack you because they know you fear them so you must be a good target (don’t let them know you’re afraid…). Sweat itself is odorless, the smell comes from the bacteria that multiply in the presence of sweat.
The other bad kind of B.O. is the one that shows up when somebody hasn’t showered for a month or more. It is the European, Middle Ages smell when people (even Kings like Louis the XIV) took a bath only once or twice a year because the Catholic Church thought it was a pagan custom (all that nudity…). Of course, nowadays, with (American) people taking a shower every day and sometime twice a day, the bad kind of B.O. shows up when somebody hasn’t showered for a few hours or more, which is really sad. The nose is an adaptable device and sometimes, people do more wrong than good by overusing antiperspirants, deodorants and perfumes. Some people cannot even stand the smell of their own self because they messed up their nose with chemical products so they end up showering twice a day which is way too much but they cannot help it: all they want is the smell is chemical perfume and not themselves.

If only people would know…you have a job and you need to smell good, not just nothing but good, so you shower every morning and use all those products in order to not smell like a human being. You know that when you miss a daily shower like on the weekend or if you get sick, then you start to smell yourself in a bad way and you do not like it.
If only those people would know that they should just stop showering. Take a shower or a bath every other days, then every three days, then every week. You may then rediscover your own smell and appreciate it and rediscover the smell of your partner and realize it is what drove you to him/her in the first place.

Both are pretty bad. Since I have to choose, I guess I will go with stinky breath. To me, that's a little more tolerable.

Ok if I have to choose one, it would be stinky breath because at least I could try to keep my mouth closed or chew gum or something. There is nothing you can hide BO with. That is gross!

Stinky Breath.
At least it would eliminate my body and I could avoid offending most people with my breath by chewing on Altoids all day

Stinky breathe because you can cover it up better by chewing gum and other things but you can't cover up body odor without making it worse.
