"The consensus here is clear: more intelligent people tend not to
believe in religion. And this observation is given added force when
you consider that the above studies span a broad range of time,
subjects and methodologies, and yet arrive at the same conclusion."

Apparently not, as you have phrased a sentence without providing the other half of the comparison: higher than whom? Average population? Average religionist? If you mean average population, I'd say no, because most of the human population are atheist in practice if not words. If you say by claimed beliefs, then the average person who claims a specific belief will have an higher IQ than a person who doesn't think about such topics, obviously. If that is the definition, than those who take "atheist" as a tag likely would score higher on IQ tests than those who take "Christian" as a tag because many Christians are what we here in the church call "cultural" or "family" Christians: again, they never really thought about it.

A research has shown that Atheistic scientists do have a higher IQ than Theistic scientists. Not sure about the everyday non-scientists though.

Some do, and some don't. Some of the atheists are scientists; naturally, they are quite well educated, particularly in their area of expertise and are quite fluent in many things. Studying develops a person as a whole, never mind if he or she is an atheist or not.
