It raises your baby temperature and it can also induce labor.
Just make sure that when you shower the water it's not to hot.
You can also use heating pads for your back, my doctor told my it was safe.
Good Luck and Best Wishes!!!

One of the reason they warn against HOT baths during pregnancy is because it raises your body temp quickly and too high. If it had been too hot for you...it would have left you weak, ill and dizzy. Like being over heated. Heat exhaustion isn't good for you or the fetus. Also, it leaves you more prone to falling or fainting.
Baths are fine so long as the water isn't too hot and if your like me your belly isn't submerged, which helps in keeping you cooler.
I have read that baths should be avoided after the water breaks...but that doesn't make any sense, considering that water births are a choice in natural child births. So who knows.

Just be careful to not make the water too hot. They temp inside is much higher then you feel it, thats why pregnant women arent allowed to get into hot tubs. If you must take hot baths try to keep you belly out of the water. Read this:

The main thing people are worried about when it come to hot showers is raising moms core temperature too much and that it *could* endanger the baby.
Studies have shown that temperatures that are 102 degrees and lower are safe for mom and baby. Length doesn't really matter.
Go ahead and enjoy your baths.

It isn't safe to spend a lot of time in water that is over 102 degrees. You probably don't submerge your whole body in the tub, making your temperature climb slower. You would likely be uncomfortable w/ your body temp at 102 and get out of the tub anyway. Relax, and just reduce the temp a little bit. I take them too!

It just raises your bady temperature and increases the chance of some of those nasty bacteria that lysol doesn't get out of your tub from creating an infection down there. As I understand it hot baths are worse in early pregnancy.

as long as your skin isn't red then your ok. You're not supposed to take them too hot because your body temp raises and that's not good for the baby, but the bath is fine if it's not too hot.

hot baths are fine as long as you don't spend hours in them. But Hot tubs/Jacuzzis are not ok.
