Finally, while you can't download the songs, pandora is an awesome site for streaming music on your pc/laptop and is a great way to find new artists that are similar to ones you already like

Most websites that have free music are illegal.

Except for ones that have classical, World, and such.

The closest you can get to legal are the Napster/Rhapsody/Urge free trials, but if you don't sign up when the trial is finished, it deletes your music.
