I have used L'Oreal True Match and it's worked really well. They have a lot of shades so it's likely you'll find one that matches your skin tone. To this advice I add: invest in a foundation brush, which helps spread the foundation evenly, and only use foundation where you need it, not all over your face.
That being said, if you feel that most foundation is "cakey" and you just don't like how it feels on your face, you may like tinted moisturizer. Revlon makes a tinted moisturizer called Skinlights with light-reflecting particles and SPF which should even out your skintone but feel like moisturizer.

I like Mary Kay foundation, but its a little more expensive. If you are looking for something at a drug store I would pick Cover Girl, clean makeup foundation. Its more lightweight than some others that I have tried, but it still covers really well. I think its only about $4 a bottle.

Go for an oil-free foundation from brands such as Neutrogena, Maybelline and Revlon. Personally I like Revlon Active SPF25 because it includes sunscreen and lasts forever without sliding off my face! The consistency is great too, not heavy at all and it doesn't feel like wearing make up.

I would suggest Mary Kay. It is $14.00 a bottle/tube. But a little goes a long way. I have had mine for 6 months and it is not even half way's done. You don't want to put anything too cheap on your face. It also comes with 100% money back guarantee.

I use Aquasmooth makeup by Cover Girl (it comes in a dark blue compact)...also Almay nearly naked foundation works good too..its the stuff where you just touch the sponge and some comes out. its very sheer and you dont feel like you have makeup on. but i like the aquasmooth because it has helped my complexion alot. you can buy both of these products at walmart.

Use Maybelline Instant age Rewind Creme Foundation if you have dry skin like I do. If you have oily skin, try L'Oreal Paris Naturale Mineral(sp?), it gives you a sheer and light layer of color and coverage. It's also healthy for your skin and won't clog pores. You can get both of them at drugstores like CVS, Eckerd, Rite Aids.
